چکیده ماجرا

سال 2029 در بحبوحه ی جنگی هسته ای، ماشین ها و روبات ها عملا کنترل زمین را به دست گرفته اند و مشغول نابود کردن آخرین انسان های باقی مانده هستند. «نابودگر» (شوارتسنگر) موجودی ماشینی است که به سال 1984 فرستاده می شود تا زنی جوان به نام «سارا کانر» (همیلتن) را که مادر «جان»، ناجی بشریت در جدال با روبات ها خواهد بود، بکشد.

Storyline

Sent back from a dystopian 2029--where the cold machines have conquered the entire world--to 1984 Los Angeles, the indestructible cyborg-assassin known as the "Terminator" commences his deadly mission to kill humankind's most important woman: the unsuspecting Sarah Connor.
